You have to see it to believe it

There were several heats over Saturday and Sunday with the final race late Sunday afternoon.  It was treated as a real race.  The announcer called the race and the winner did receive prizes, all be it not as large a purse as the horse races.

  You couldn't officially bet on the winner, which makes sense because every once in a while someone decides to go back.
